A family friend of Lauren's, Bobby Humphries - at just 2 years old, was diagnosed with a brain tumour and has undergone some very extensive treatment and after a long, tough journey he is unfortunately still battling this awful disease.
A friend of ours, Matthew Stride, was also diagnosed with a brain tumour a few months later and following brain surgery, chemo & radiotherapy, at just 28 years old he is currently living with a terminal tumour.

Another friend Charlotte Green, who Sophie has known since they were young, was diagnosed a few years before Matthew with the same type of tumour so they are on a very similar journey.

Harrison Price is a very brave teenager that is currently battling Leukaemia but manages to keep up beat and keep everyone on Facebook up to date with his journey.
Glamour and Goodness Ball
The Glamour and Goodness Ball was first hosted in 2015 for 170 people at The Ramada Hotel Solihull and it was a fantastic success raising over £10,000
Following all the positive comments we decided to host the ball again but on a much bigger and better scale.
In 2016 the ball was held at The St Johns Hotel in Solihull for 510 - the tickets sold out in a matter of days and we raised over £30,000 including our marathon fundraising

In 2018 we went bigger and better than ever with over 600 tickets and we raised over £24,000 from the ball alone.
In 2020 we hope to raise more than ever before.
